After 20 years of bench experience in Italy I continued to work another 20 years in North America.
Skills acquired:
- Master stone setter specializing in pave and micro pave, bezel, prongs, French set, engagement rings, engraving of gold and platinum using traditional Italian systems and contemporary techniques with the microscope and GRS GraverMax.
- Experience in stone layouts in model or casting for variuous setting techniques.
- Polish finishing and rhodium plate finishing for fine jewelry.
- Titanium colorization using electrolysis.
- Electrolysis system for gold and palladium plating.
- Welding with laser and torch.
- Experience working with precious metals: gold, platinum, diamonds and colored stones. Repair and restoration of antique jewelry, using traditional Italian systems.
- Have created prototypes in metal for serial production in collaboration with Italian laboratories in 3D CAD and casting (Florence).
