After 20 years of bench experience in Italy I continued to work another 20 years in North America.

Master stone setter specializing in pave and micro pave, bezel, prongs, French set ,engagement rings, engraving of gold and platinum using traditional Italian systems and contemporary techniques with the microscope and GRS GraverMax.
Experience in stone layouts in model or casting for variuous setting techniques.
Polish finishing and rhodium plate finishing for fine jewelry.
Titanium colorization using electrolysis.
Electrolysis system for gold and palladium plating.
Welding with laser and torch.
Experience working with precious metals: gold, platinum, diamonds and colored stones. Repair and restoration of antique jewelry, using traditional Italian systems.
Have created prototypes in metal for serial production in collaboration with Italian laboratories in 3D CAD and casting (Florence).

Invented tools, techniques and systems that decreased production time and lowered expenses.
Collaborated with designers and model makers to optimize quality of finished product and reduce time, labor and costs.
Supervised and trained in-house stone setters.
Able to integrate classic goldsmithing and casting processes with contemporary CAD techniques.

Work as a stonesetter for San Francisco goldsmiths. I do stone layout in platinum and gold.

Mark Broder Jewelry Design in Brentwood -Work on site as a part-time bench jeweler I work with precous metals; gold, platinum and silver. The pieces consist of diamonds and colored stones. Repair and restore antique jewelry, using traditional systems and Laser.

Previous Employment

The 14 Karats – I worked on site as a part-time as a bench jeweler performing a variety of work such as repair, restoration and stone setting.
The Jewelsmiths- I worked as a bench jeweler performing a variety of work such as repair using a laser. I did stone setting for fine jewelery created from 3D CAD. I also did finishing and polishing of pieces.

A & T Jewelers Limited- Trained jewelry personnel to create jewelry in goldsmithing and stonesetting.

Ferraris Gioielli -Bench work as stone setter and team collaboration for serial production for Stefan Hafner. Work was exported to the USA and United Arab Emirates.
Stipula- Created luxury pens in gold for Shopard.
Alessandro Fanfani- Stone setter in gold and stainless steel.
K di Kuore- Stone setter and goldsmith in gold and stainless steel.

L’Atelier Preziosi -Was the proprietor of a jewelry store in L’Aquila, Italy. I did casting of jewelry in gold. I had my own line of jewelry. I did custom jewelry per clients requests. I did stone setting. I did repairs and restoration of jewelry. I engraved by hand in Italian style. I worked with chisel and embossing (repose). I worked with glass enamel using an oven.
